Day 1
Coastal Wonders from Shannon

Arrive at Shannon Airport, your Wild Atlantic Way entry point. Explore the iconic Cliffs of Moher and the unique landscape of The Burren. Consider a visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park for a medieval experience. Enjoy local brews at Dirty Nellys Pub.

Day 2
Galway and Connemara Highlights

Travel north to Galway, known for its lively culture and shops. Dive into Connemara's beauty, discovering Kylemore Abbey and its Victorian gardens.

Day 3
Killarney's Natural Beauty

Head south to Killarney's National Park, Muckross House, and scenic spots like Ladies View. Experience the Gap of Dunloe on a jaunting car ride and savor Irish hospitality at Kate Kearney’s Cottage.

The Wild Atlantic Way - A 1600 Mile Spectacle along Ireland's Rugged West Coast

Day 1

Nearby we have the majestic Cliffs of Moher. 700ft high and 5 miles or 8kms long. It is Ireland’s top tourist attraction and is a must see. It is also part of The Burren UNESCO geopark, 360 sq kms of limestone pavement rock, carved by glaciers more than 340 million years ago. This is a unique landscape in world terms and is home to wonderful flora and fauna.

Or perhaps a visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The castle was built in 1425 by the McNamara family and then owned by the O’Brien’s. Nowadays, it regularly hosts medieval banquets and also on the grounds there is the folk park, alive with stunning examples of Irish dwellings and a folk village where you can immerse yourself in times gone by. Not to mention Dirty Nellys Pub for a drop of the black stuff!

Day 2

Travelling north we have the beautiful city of Galway, with its vibrant shops, pubs and cafes. Famous also for it’s traditional Irish music and great food. It is a perfect venue to soak up Irish culture.

Not far away the beautiful landscape of Connemara where we can find Kylemore Abbey, built in 1868 and now owned and run as a monastery by the Benedictine order of nuns. It is now a major tourist attraction. Here you can view the beautiful Victorian walled gardens, tour the Abbey which was until 2010, an exclusive all girls boarding school and sample some of the artisan foods and crafts on-site.

Day 3

Head south to Killarney with it’s National Park, stunning lakes and mountains. Not forgetting Muckross House on the shores of Muckross Lake. Ladies View and Molls Gap make this part of Ireland one of the most scenic places on earth.

Take a ride of a jaunting car through the Gap of Dunloe with tales and banter from your driver and a bite to eat at Kate Kearney’s Cottage a 170 year old family business.
